HOW
YOUR HALLMARK PUPPY IS RAISED:
Every
puppy bred by Hallmark Shepherds is raised with the
intention of preparing him/her for the "real
world".
They are raised in our home with all the sights and
sounds of an average household. Each pup
receives
individual attention daily, is held and loved.
We perform Bio-Sensor exercises the first two
weeks of life.
Puppies exposed to this form of Early
Neurological
Stimulation
have been found to have:
1:
Improved cardiovascular performance
2: Stronger heart beats
3: Stronger adrenal glands
4: More tolerance to stress and
5: Greater resistance to disease
Once
your pup reaches 6 weeks, he will be evaluated for
conformation and temperament
using Volhards
Puppy Aptitude Test.
In
addition, evaluations will be done using the PAWS
Working Dog Evaluation,
which was developed to
help identify and evaluate the main components of
good working temperaments for dogs being selected
for work in K-9, Scent Detection, Search, French
Ring, Schutzhund, Agility, Obedience and similar
activities.
Each
pup will be individually evaluated for Herding
Instinct.
Your
puppy will come to you with a health clearance from
our vet, will have his first set of vaccinations,
be de-wormed and Tattooed/Microchipped. We also
supply you with Hallmark Shepherds Health Guarantee.

How
Can I Be Considered for a Hallmark Puppy? Hallmark
puppies are often spoken for before they
are born! If you would like to be considered
for a puppy feel free to contact us with questions.
We are
always happy to talk with you about our puppies!
We will ask you to fill out our questionnaire
in order to
get to know you and your family and to understand
what your looking for in a pup. Once you are
approved for a Hallmark puppy we can accept your
deposit.
Pricing:
A Hallmark puppy normally runs between
$900-$1,300 based upon evaluations of temperament,
working ability and conformation no sooner than 6-7
weeks of age. Occasional top show/ breeding
prospects up to $1500 These prices are subject to
change.
Deposits:
A $300.00 deposit will be accepted from
approved homes to hold a puppy. The deposit is non-
refundable. Send your deposit only if you are
committed to add a Hallmark puppy to your household,
it
will not be refunded if you back out.
Hips
& Elbows: Prior to breeding, hips are
certified by PennHIP/OFA and elbows by OFA. As
the breeder
of your puppy I have done everything I can to assure
that the health of your puppy is excellent. I
only breed
dogs that have OFA or PennHIP certified hips and who
have no known detrimental genetic health
conditions. Please understand that with the
genetics of breeding dogs, nothing is 100%
guaranteed.
Although it is rare, even with the best planning
undesirable traits do occur, even out of healthy
parents.

Genetics:
In an effort to avoid passing on serious
genetic health problems, we conscientiously consider
the genetic background of all breeding stock.
We also report professionally diagnosed genetic
disorders,
however minor, to the WHITE
SHEPHERD GENETICS PROJECT.
